Mission

My mission is to offer resources and counsel to discern the unique-to-you balance of wisdom, sacrifice and love of self for the healing and restoration of your mind, body and spirit in order to become the best version of yourself.

Vision

My vision is for you to be at peace within yourself and  your surroundings, even when things aren’t going "perfectly." I see all things as connected, and if I can help just one person learn how to balance love and boundaries effectively in the way I understand Christ intended, I believe my presence here will have been worth it.

My Philosophy on Life

Imagine a life without any trauma, stress or resentment. One without sexual assault, verbal abuse, sickness, financial strain, power struggles, lies, heartache or death. This is the world that God created to exist, and the world that He has preserved in Heaven. When Jesus Christ came to the earth to die and resurrect, He redeemed suffering. He opened the gateway to say, "If you choose to follow me, you can experience the faith, hope, peace and love that is experienced when all these evils do not exist. I will give you the grace you need to avoid even the near occasion of sin, and therefore your actions can be perfected within me- and only through me."

When we choose to pick up our cross daily… When we join our struggles and sufferings to the cross… The Lord’s presence becomes a tangible and consistent reality in our lives. It is only through Christ that the peace that surpasses all understanding can take root and embody itself in our lives.

As a devout Catholic-Christian with a Traditional & Classical Worldview who studied Massage Therapy through a school deeply rooted in Eastern Philosophy, my perspective on the world is unique. The profound healing I experienced through intensive bodywork, my conversion process to Catholicism, and years of talk therapy with a psychologist who also happened to be a priest helped me be able to see the world through the lens of wholeness. We all strive to find our "center," and I believe once we are able to encounter Christ as the true center of humanity, our internal center follows suit.

Our mind, body, spirit connection is essential to well-being & self-mastery, and if one is out of sync it can cause disarray across the board. My goal is to help guide you away from complacency and point you toward how to restore the life God has preserved and longs for you to experience. This means a mutually-beneficial relationship with your children (and your parents!), a fulfilling marriage with your spouse, feelings of self-confidence and a complete trust in your intuition and discernment processes.

The Authoritative Approach integrates grace-filled connection alongside clear, sufficient boundaries. The term "authoritative" was initially defined by Diana Baumrind, a clinical and developmental psychologist, as she researched parenting styles. Her research provided evidence that showed the value of love to be assimilated with structure. This is what I have found to be True of the Catholic-Christian Faith when practiced and understood in its entirety: the finite Truth of scripture upholds the Lord’s commandments while simultaneously acknowledging the human condition. For me, it has cultivated a "trickle down" effect where not only do I internally experience the grace of the fruit of the Spirit that is promised, but I am naturally able to display this love and compassion to my children and others while holding boundaries at the same time.

As someone who has processed and healed from each and every one of the items listed in the second sentence, allow me to support you. Not all of my resources are Catholic, or even Christian. Quite a few I discovered during my Agnostic days in college. Countless come from my massage training and years of therapy. Still more come based off others’ recommendations whether it be parenting/pregnancy related, fitness/diet oriented or even focused on the "growth" mindset…

Whatever it may be, and whoever you may be, I want to help you grow into the best version of yourself through self-mastery. Which honestly ends up naturally reflecting the fullness of who God originally created us to be: the perfect image of the Father (the fullness of wisdom, understanding & knowledge as it resides in our mind), the Son (the fullness of sacrifice as it resides in our body) and the Holy Spirit (the fullness of Love as it resides in our spirit, or rather, our personality). If you only sacrifice- if God was only sacrifice- it all falls apart. This is why learning wisdom, and even true love of self, is so important as you begin the journey to discern the unique balance you need for the healing and restoration of your mind, body and spirit.
